Cook County State’s Attorney
As expected, Democratic candidate Eileen O’Neill Burke easily defeated Republican Bob Fioretti to win the Cook County State’s Attorney seat currently held by Kim Foxx.

Presidential Race
In the early morning hours Wednesday, The Associated Press called the US presidential race for Donald Trump, making him the 47th president of the United States. Republicans also took control of the Senate with victories in Ohio and Nebraska. The House still has 100 races left to called.
